HAGATNA - The Philippine Consulate General is pleased to announce that starting on 01 July 2008, the Philippine Bureau of Immigration has extended "balikbayan" privileges to the foreign members of the families of Filipinos and former Filipinos when traveling together, regardless of the frequency of their travel. This will allow said foreign family members to stay in the Philippines for a period of up to one (1) year without need for a visa. 

                    Persons interested to travel to the Philippines and who have any questions are welcome to call the Philippine Consulate at tel. no. 646-4620/30. The Consulate is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
