The Philippine Consulate General wishes to inform the public that it is now accepting applications for the new Machine Readable Passports (MRP). 

Aside from the new processing period of six (6) weeks, the Philippine MRPs are now maroon-colored and the photos required must now have a royal blue background.  In connection with this the following are some of the photo studios ready to take the required photos with royal blue background:
